Automated Heat Sink Assembly Press (illustrated)

Designed for high volume assembly of boards with many heatsinks.

The drawer assembly allows convenient access to:-

Load the PCB
Apply thermal adhesive
Accurately locate the heat sinks.
When the drawer is closed it is locked in position by a pneumatic actuator.

Twin start buttons allow the top plate to lower allowing any number of weights to pre-load each individual heat sink.

A timer prevents the drawer from being opened until the preset adhesive curing time has been reached.
